Azadeh Monfared, strategic advisor and business consultant

Helping ambitious people make sense of the messy middle between an idea and a business.

Azadeh Monfared is a strategic advisor and business consultant with 15+ years of experience across startups, SMBs, technology, SaaS, consumer brands, and entrepreneurship ecosystems.

She works with founders, entrepreneurs, and growing businesses to turn ideas into clearer strategies, stronger positioning, and practical paths to market. Her work sits at the intersection of business strategy, go-to-market, brand storytelling, customer understanding, and growth.

Over the course of her career, Azadeh has worked across very different worlds — from multinational organizations such as Nestlé to Canadian technology and SaaS companies, and now within Québec's entrepreneurship ecosystem. This experience has given her a particular ability to move between the big picture and the practical details: understanding a market, identifying opportunities, clarifying a value proposition, shaping a story, and figuring out what needs to happen next.

Her experience is particularly strong in B2B technology, digital products, healthcare and emerging businesses, where the path from a good idea to a viable business is rarely straightforward. She helps clients make sense of complex markets, define who they are really serving, sharpen their positioning, and build go-to-market strategies that are realistic for their stage and resources.

As a Business Coach with YES Employment + Entrepreneurship, Azadeh supports founders and small-business owners through different stages of their entrepreneurial journey — from early ideation and validation to business planning, commercialization, marketing, and growth. She also contributes to ELLEvate Women Entrepreneurs, helping women entrepreneurs develop the confidence, tools, and connections to move their businesses forward.

Her approach is practical and collaborative. Rather than adding more complexity, Azadeh helps entrepreneurs identify what matters most, connect customer need, expertise, and opportunity, and turn scattered ideas into focused action. She believes that building a business is rarely a straight line — and that good strategy should give entrepreneurs more clarity, not more homework.

Azadeh has also mentored young professionals through Mentor Canada and has a particular interest in supporting diverse founders, newcomers, career-transition entrepreneurs, and people building businesses around expertise they genuinely care about.

Beyond business and strategy, Azadeh is a storyteller at heart. Her interests in literature, cinema, culture, food, and music continue to shape the way she thinks about people, brands, and the stories businesses tell.

How an engagement works

  1. 1. Assessment

You complete the guided assessment on this site. It takes about eight minutes and produces a first-session plan immediately.

  2. 2. Discovery session

A 60-minute working session following the agenda your answers generated. You leave with a written 90-day plan whether or not we continue.

  3. 3. Engagement

If it's a fit, we agree a short project or ongoing advisory rhythm — scope, cadence and how we'll measure it.

  4. 4. Accountability

Regular sessions against the plan, with the same numbers reviewed every time. Progress or a change of plan — never drift.
